Water-proof test customization

Water-proof test is the last test of the newly produced cars. Now it was a water-proof test in Kvasiny plant of Škoda Auto a. s. (Roomster cars production). Original drying system has been replaced with two casings. The distance between these two casings are about 3 meters. Due to this distance ventilator of the first casing are being started in the first step and as a car is moving ventilators of the second casing are being started in the second step of the drying process. Ventilators are being started in sequence; this delay helps to avoid current surge.
Due to the technology modifications modifications in programme. were realised. We worked with Siemens controllers in this case. Water-proof test is controlled by Siemens controller Siemens SIMATIC S7-400. Also Phoenix Contact InterBus IBS S7 400 DSC/I-T card was used; communication between input and output modules, connected to InterBus and SIMATIC, is provided by this card.
